Welcome to the Historical Guides Association of California Website.

Here you will find a gathering place for members of the Historical Guides Association of California, San Simeon, the home of Hearst Castle, premier Historical Monument and House Museum in the California State Park System. 

We also welcome anyone else who is interested in Legacy of Hearst Castle.  We provide updated information on meetings, events and other activities as well as being the archival source for our club's newsletters.

We were incorporated initially in 1966 as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of California.  Those bylaws may be seen by clicking on the Our Purpose page on the left.  For more general information about the club and members, click on the About Us page.
